Vandoma (Flee market)
Sábado acordou cheio de sol. Já há algumas semanas que não tínhamos um dia tão bonito e que convidasse ao passeio!
Consegui finalmente colocar o pé na varanda e ver a minhas flores (sim, ainda estavam vivas!) que já permitem antever a Primavera :)
Last Saturday woke up bright and sunny! We didn’t had such a beautiful day for some time!
I finally manage to get to the balcony and see my flower (yehp! They are still alive!) that are already anticipating spring :)
Com o Sol a chamar aproveitei e fui conhecer a famosa feira da Vandoma. Já conhecia a versão Alfacinha - a Feira da Ladra - mas ainda não tinha visitado a versão Portuense.
A vista privilegiada sobre o rio Douro convida a voltar e é um excelente programa para um sábado de manhã!
With the sun calling for a walk I went to the famous flee market – Vandoma market. I already knew the Lisbon’s version – Feira da Ladra – but I moved to Porto 4 years ago this was missing in my tour through the city ;)
The beautiful site of the Douro River invites everyone to come again and it is an excellent program for a Saturday morning!
Por lá, como em qualquer feira de velharias, há de tudo e por vezes sentimos que estamos numa máquina do tempo onde recordações da nossa infância surgem nos mais variados objectos.
Como me esqueci de levantar dinheiro antes de ir (boa dica para não gastar dinheiro ;) ) só trouxe este mimo para a sala :)
There you can find anything and sometimes it almost feels you are in a time machine where memories from childhood pop from the strangest object.
Since I forgot to take money (excellent tip to not spend money! ;) ) I only had enough to buy a little treat to the living room :)
Não são lindos? Dois castiçais de cristal que lembram-se a tradicional colecção Longchamp da Cristal d'Arques... mas é a vantagem destes achados... compra-mo-los simplesmente porque gostamos deles! :)
Are these pretty? Two crystal candle holders that reminde me of the traditional Longchamp line from Crystal d’Arques…but the beauty of this finds is that we buy them just because we love them! :)
E parecem ter já encontrado um espaço na nova casa :)
And they already mange to find a place in their new home :)
